Vehicle crossing application

* Indicates required field

A vehicle crossing - commonly known as a crossover - provides access to your property from the property line to the road edge.

You must have Council's permission to construct/reconstruct, alter, replace, remove or relocate a crossing to your property.

Prior to making an application for a vehicle crossing, please note that if a tree is located on the naturestrip within the area of the proposed vehicle crossing and requires removal, there will be additional fees for the tree replacement as per the Brimbank Tree policy (PDF 1.8 MB).

This cost will be noted on your approval letter once your application is assessed and payable prior to Consent being issued for the vehicle crossing. Please note this cost does not include the removal of the tree which is the responsibility of the applicant via an approved Council authorised contractor.
