The Business Association Support Policy (PDF 237KB) was adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting on July 2015, and encourages business communities to actively participate in the management and improved performance of their respective town centres and industrial precincts.
The objectives of the Policy are to:
- Support the development and enhancement of Brimbank’s Town Centres and Industrial Precincts.
- Encourage effective and coordinated collaboration between Council, business operators and property owners regarding the development and management of Brimbank’s Town Centres and Industrial Precincts.
- Support local leadership through the establishment of appropriately constituted, representative and viable business associations.
- Ensure a consistent and transparent approach to the provision of any financial and inkind support to business associations by Council
