Volunteering is a great way to connect and give back to the community, keep active and meet new people. It can also be a pathway to employment as you learn new and enhance existing skills.

If you have some time and possible skills and experience or just want to help others in the community there are a range of volunteering opportunities in Brimbank.

School Breakfast Club

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It sets our kids up to concentrate, learn and be at their best. Unfortunately, not all children start the day with breakfast at home.

School Breakfast Club Helpers assist with tasks such as setting up the breakfast area, preparing and serving breakfasts, and cleaning up and washing dishes. Social interaction with the students is an important part and supports informal learning of social and life skills.

Managed by Foodbank, School Breakfast Clubs generally run between 8-9am, but the days and times vary depending on each school.
